Top Schools
Brentwood’s schools have a solid “B” rating, meaning they are good but aren’t quite as highly ranked as schools in other Los Angeles and L.A.-adjacent neighborhoods. This neighborhood is a part of the Los Angeles Unified School District. Though over 50 schools serve the area, only a handful are located in Brentwood. The middle school is Paul Revere Middle, a large school of about 2,000 kids that feeds into the Palisades High School, so Brentwood doesn’t have its high school. Brentwood is home to extra-large lots, a mix of residents ranging from the rich and famous to grad students and professors, and a friendly strip full of shops, people watching, restaurants, and buzzing cafes. Ease of Access

Mulholland Drive borders Brentwood to the north, Wilshire Boulevard to the south, Sullivan Canyon/Westridge Trail to the west, the San Diego Freeway to the east, and the Santa Monica city limits to the southwest. Brentwood benefits from the fresh ocean air by being west of the 405 – but not so far west that it’s too distant from the rest of Los Angeles or the arterial freeways.
